We recently welcomed a new visitor to Lear House – Puddles the dog and her owner!

Puddles is from the orgnisation Therapy Dogs Nationwide so she is specially trained to visit places like hospitals, schools and care homes.  She has proved very popular with our residents and she always looks like she enjoys her visits too!

Studies have shown the benefits of using dogs to aid mental health, well-being, and confidence.  It’s also a great talking point and our residents enjoy finding out about Puddles and talking to her owner.
