Following on from yesterday’s video, here are some photos from our Popcats afternoon with Caroline and the children from St Agnes Pre-School Group. The afternoon was filled with fun, activity, and laughter, and to end on a lovely note, the children spent time with our residents reading together.
We had a great afternoon last week with Andy Bayley! The session was filled with wonderful music, plenty of singing, and, of course, some dancing. It was a fun and lively time, bringing everyone together for a joyful experience.
On Friday afternoon last week, we had the pleasure of meeting The Crazy Chicken Lady and her feathered friend, Queenie the chicken! It was a great afternoon filled with interesting questions, conversations about Queenie, and reminiscing about the joys of keeping chickens.
Another wonderful Pamper Afternoon with Jess Harrison from Tropic Skincare took place last week! Residents enjoyed relaxing treatments, a glass of fizz and great company.
We were thrilled to welcome Tim and Gwyl from Therapy Dogs Nationwide last week! As always, everyone was delighted to see them. Their visits bring so much joy, with residents enjoying the chance to spend time with the therapy dogs and chat with Tim.
Some photos from yesterday morning’s Knit and Natter session with Heather, where our talented residents crafted a beautiful knitted poppy wreath. It’s always inspiring to see the creativity and care that goes into each piece, and the wreath is a lovely reminder of the significance of remembrance.
