At the end of last month, we had an absolutely fabulous time at Abbeyfield Hoylake and West Kirby Society with the wonderful Jenna from Boogie Woogie Music, Movement & Memories! The afternoon was a whirlwind of fun, laughter, and nostalgia, all with a lively fairground theme.
The room came alive with fantastic music, dancing, and plenty of smiles as everyone got into the spirit of the day. From toe-tapping tunes to joyful movement, it was impossible not to join in. We even had a game of hook-a-duck, bringing a playful sense of competition to the mix—prizes or not, the thrill of the game was enough to keep everyone entertained.
And to top it all off, we ended the afternoon with some teamwork using a colourful parachute. It was a brilliant way to wrap up the event, as everyone came together for one last activity filled with laughter and camaraderie.
A huge thank you to Jenna for bringing her energy, creativity, and a sprinkle of fairground magic to our day. It was a delightful afternoon full of memories that we’ll cherish for a long time. We’re already looking forward to the next Boogie Woogie session!
