A Heartwarming Nativity Performance by St Agnes Pre-School

Last week, Lear House, part of Abbeyfield Hoylake & West Kirby, was filled with festive cheer as we welcomed the children of St Agnes Pre-School Group for a very special visit. They brought the magic of Christmas to life with their enchanting performance of the nativity play.

The little stars took us on a wonderful journey through the story of Christmas, retelling the birth of Jesus in a humble stable in Bethlehem. With angelic songs, adorable costumes and plenty of heartfelt moments, their performance reminded us of the true meaning of the season: love, hope and the joy of giving.

The nativity story is a beautiful reminder that even in the simplest of settings, extraordinary things can happen. Watching the children’s enthusiasm and seeing the effort they had put into every line and song was a heartwarming experience for everyone. It brought smiles, laughter and even a few tears of joy.

After the performance, we had the chance to chat with the children and their teachers, sharing in the warmth of the occasion. It was a lovely afternoon that truly captured the spirit of Christmas—celebrating kindness, community and togetherness.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to St Agnes Pre-School Group for their wonderful performance. We’re already looking forward to welcoming them back in the new year for more joyful moments!
